Bill has a BFA with Honors in Medical Illustration (1979) from RIT in Rochester New York. After college, he produced medical education programs and graphics at The University of Iowa College of Medicine for five years.

He moved to Chicago and was heavily involved with creating programs for corporations. By the early nineties, he began shifting from editing and graphics to creative development and fieldwork including interviewing and directing.

Bill likes fly-fishing, politics and fuel-efficient Japanese cars.

Traci received a comprehensive education at Southern Illinois University in Television, and is the most formally trained employee at the Studio.

She is a Senior Editor, with almost ten years experience cutting. She is a “content” cutter, most often working without the supervision of a producer. She delves into your messaging and reconstructs it in such a way as to best communicate your message.

Traci likes cooking, cats and small Italian sports cars.

Matthew Butler is an Eagle Scout and proud of it. Just as he applied all of his skills, determination and talent to achieving that goal, so has he been tenacious with developing his skills in the field of motion graphics.

He provides the Studio with “The Look.” He says about himself “I’ve got skills.” And it is no understatement. He brings a new way of thinking about motion graphics, which is obvious with our contemporary graphic style.

Matt likes running, i-phones and very, very fast black cars.

We hire the best of the freelance community. We have long-term relationships with Cameramen, Gaffers and Audio Technicians for our field video production work. And we have relationships with Writers, Animators and Editors that we hire as our project load dictates. We maintain additional fully equipped workstations and facility space to accommodate these extra personnel.

We like our freelancers to like mini vans and SUVs.

Suzy is a recent graduate from the Illinois Institute of Art. She has spent some time at Optimus and Somersault cutting her teeth in the production business. She is specializing in Editing and Producing here at the Studio.

She is a black belt and a true blue South Sider. Hates the cubs, loves the sox and knows how to dress a hot dog. A sci-fi fan, her heroes include James T. Kirk, Yoda and Dr. Who.

Suzy likes classical music, can drive a bobcat and takes great pleasure in driving beaters, of which she has already beat four to death.
